Our work takes us many different places around the world!

Saunders Island, Falkland Islands

This is from the Saunders Island in the northwest corner of the Falkland Islands. That is me in the electric jacket on the right.  It was here that the ship Columbia entered the harbour for respit until braving the rounding of Cape Horn! We followed the same path that a crew member took when he jumped ship for a short period of time. The same wind that kept them from departing the Island, was absent when we tried to go home. We were stranded for 36 hours…which eventually…turned into another 7 days on the Islands.
