The Falkand Islands are just one a the many places I have traveled providing sound services over the years. My name is  Garrett  ‘Jay’  Sheehan, owner and operator of Garrett Audio.

Garrett Audio is a leading sound production service company based on Cape Cod, in Massachusetts. I have been a recording engineer and media content producer for over 20 years now and have been lucky enough to work with some of the areas best talent among singers, songwriters, musicians, filmmakers, and artists at all levels.

For over 15 years, I have specialized in providing sound for picture services, including location production sound mixing, sound editorial services, foley, and mixing to picture. Industries such as motion picture and television, documentary and independent media producers, as well as Fortune 100 companies.

As a recording engineer and music producer, I work with many different genres of music and artists. Whether a singer/songwriter, acoustic quartet, or a large band, small studio or high end commercial facility, we can provide the services you need to make your project the best it can be. We also collaborate with other facilities in New England to help make your travel time easier. We can even book a work-cation on Cape Cod when you need to relax away from the city side and record in a private setting.

When it comes to Mastering, we focus on high quality product with respect to your budget. Major label techniques at an indie label price point. If your budget allows for more to spend on mastering ($2k-5k), then we highly suggest you use someone like Gateway, Sterling Sound, Masterdisc, or Bernie Grundman. But if you are a smaller independent artist, then consider a consultation with us about your project.

With a web-centric workflow these days, you don’t need to be local for your project anymore. We have worked on many projects utilizing the internet for secure file transfers, quality control assessments, and final mix approvals. If special services are needed, such as ADR, ISDN, video or graphics, our collaboration partners are there at the ready.
